Never quite good enough to get rich off this game.

I used to be good. Really good. But this game is a hardcore evolving lava pit. Props to all who make above the avg. wage playing it.

Went to basic, fucking basic, hard shit - did it. Everything from painstaking inspections, shining rifles, faggots trying to rip your drive out of you, and 45 degree angles on your beds. Not to mention the dust they inevitably found on your floors.

Place is/was fucked. Name of the game - know it's a game. Deal. I honestly think (I probably always will), this forum is much smarter than the average joe. It's all a clown-show.

I'm glad I don't have to rely on poker to pay my rent anymore. I did that for far too long. That's a really.. really hard job. I wish the best to people who are still doing it.

Whatever. I have nothing else to say. I love this community. I still do. I wondered how you fairy faggots were doing while I was gone. Apparently nothing, sweet. I'll add pics when/whatever I can. Oh ya, Basic was fucking rough. Maysil.

Got a job offer from the military! Have been waiting for over a year and a half - took so long because I'm joining as an officer.

Trade is going to be a logistics officer in the navy. I'm so fucking pumped. Sweet thing about this trade is that it actually utilizes my business degree, and after the first few years LOG officers don't get deployed around nearly as much as other trades. Another sweet thing about the navy is I'll be posted on either the East or the West coast - my decision. British Columbia is ridiculously beautiful, but my family is on the East coast - so I'll most likely pick there. Much better than getting posted around every 2-4 years as I would have been in the Air Force. Army? Would honestly have refused a job offer in that element.

Getting sworn in on January, then off to boot camp for 14 weeks at a place just SE of Montreal (North of Pittsburgh). Gonna be cold as balls, but I don't care, I'd go to the Arctic for boot camp at this point.

Other news. Got a new place, living on my own for the first time ever. It has it's ups and downs. I like living with people (provided they're not dumbshits), but I also feel like I have my own 'lair' now. Working odd contract jobs to pay the bills.

Poker's going well. Cashing out everything over $650 at the moment. Nice way to pad the income and pay for unexpected shit - like a tooth I broke on Sunday... fuuuck. I can't wait to have benefits for all that health crap. Paying full dental bills is for the birds.

Man! I'm elated guys. I know a lot of people think military is a shit job, but Canadian military is actually a kick ass gig. Good pay, complete job security, no war, tons of vacation, ridiculous amounts of time off for sports (time to get into hockey and baseball again, yeahhhh!!), and they'll pay for any additional education that I want which I'm totally gonna utilize.

Anyways, just felt like sharing.
